July 2026 – Jessica Dyson and John Walters, Jr. are facing animal cruelty charges after being charged with endangering a child and identity theft. Police say they allegedly abandoned their pets in a condemned home. Police say they left two cats and a dog inside the home earlier this month. The animals were found days later by a family member and received care. Both suspects face misdemeanor charges and are to appear in court at a later date.
