Nov 2026 – New York State Police troopers arrested Cody Fuller, 35, of Gouverneur on Friday after police said he went to a person’s home in Fowler the night before and allegedly shot and injured a cat. Investigators said Fuller stopped his truck in front of a home and shot a cat. Police said Fuller took the cat and drove away. Police located Fuller and arrested him. He is facing charges of animal cruelty, reckless endangerment, illegal discharge of a firearm and criminal possession of a weapon, among others. Fuller was arraigned and released. He is due back in court at a later date.
