Ranking of New York in Animal Welfare Laws
Historically NY was a leader in animal protection, but in recent years, it has fallen in national rankings.
NY now is ranked 29th* for animal welfare/defense laws. Score has worsen from a rank of 26th in 2024.
Diopus is working hard toward creating more animal welfare foundations, criminalizing a cruel conduct toward animals, including abuse, neglect, abandonment, sexual assault, and animal fighting. Our goal is to have NY become visionaries in their animal welfare laws once again.
