April 2026 – Connie Sok, 55, was arrested and charged with 44 counts of over driving, torturing and injuring animals and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child after a search warrant found more than 150 animals living in squalor conditions in and around a makeshift mobile home. Volunteers removed goats, pigs, cows, geese, ducks, sheep, dogs and chinchillas from the property. Those animals were placed into the custody of animal shelters and rescue groups across Central New York. Sok was processed and released from custody.
