The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office says Larry Smith (73) allegedly left 26 cows and 14 pigs on his Kent Switch Road farm in Leon without food or water. Additionally, deputies say the farm was extremely unsanitary with 16 cow and one pig carcass not properly disposed of.Deputies say Smith voluntarily surrounded his livestock to a foster farm in Erie County.He was issued an appearance ticket and is schedule to face the charges at a later date.
