9/6/2017 – According to the Hudson Valley SPCA’s Humane Law Enforcement division, James Scott, 52, allegedly beat a 10-year-old male Corgi with a stick. The dog suffered blunt force trauma, hind leg lameness and a hemorrhage in his right eye. Scott was charged with felony aggravated cruelty to animals under the state’s Agriculture and Markets Law. He was arrested and scheduled to appear in Town of Wallkill Court at a later date.
