Sept 2018 – Samantha Rizzo (46) was charged with animal cruelty after police responded to an animal abuse case in the Town of Hannibal. The dog was brought to a local veterinary clinic where it was determined that it had suffered a broken jaw and multiple fractures to the head area. In addition to charging Rizzo with animal cruelty, State Police charged her with third-degree falsely reporting an incident when an investigation revealed that the dog belonged to Rizzo.
