January 2021 – Nicole J. Peters, 27, was charged with nine counts of Failure to Provide Sustenance and nine counts of Neglect of Impounded Animal after investigators with the State Police and Allegany County SPCA received a complaint of allegedly malnourished and neglected dogs, ducks, and chickens at Peters residence on Deer Creek Road in the town of Genesee. She was released on her own recognizance and was due to appear in Genesee Town Court at a later date.
