April 2022 – Jason Nunez (27) of Brooklyn was arrested after police discovered 30 dogs in abject squalor. According to police several dogs malnourished to the point where their rib cages were visible through matted fur. Nunez was charged with multiple counts of aggravated animal cruelty and related charges, according to court records. Nunez was issued an appearance ticket and released.
