November 2024 – Alberto Morris (33) was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and aggravated cruelty to animals for allegedly throwing a dog from a balcony in Crown Heights. Police say Alberto Morris got into an argument with one of the residents, and during the dispute, threw the resident’s young pit bull from the 14th-floor balcony. The dog died from its injuries.  Morris is now out on supervised release, according to the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office.
