April 2025 – Krysta D. Labarr (36) of North Lawrence, NY, was arrested on seven counts of animal cruelty, specifically for torturing or injuring animals and failing to provide adequate sustenance. Troopers responded to an animal cruelty complaint. During the investigation, it was discovered that two adult dogs and five puppies had been allegedly abandoned inside a residence. The dogs were found to be allegedly owned by Labarr. Labarr was arrested and subsequently released on an appearance ticket.
