September 2025 – Connell Johnson (48) of Hudson was identified as a suspect in a dog’s neglect, abuse, and abandonment and was taken into custody by the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office. He was charged with animal cruelty under Article 26, Section 353 of the New York State Agriculture and Markets Law.
