new charges, after a Saratoga County grand jury indictment her in connection to an animal neglect case dating back to last summer. Yvette Giovanni is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals, criminal mischief and 11 counts of overdriving, torturing, and injuring animals.

July 2025 – Yvette Giovanni was charged with a misdemeanor for failing to give the pets proper food and water. She was then charged with a felony for the death of a French bulldog, Gus, who investigators say was left outside during a recent heatwave. Gus is now confirmed to have died from heat stroke.
