March 2026 –  Michelle Faraci (35) was arrested and charged with allegedly neglecting a dog by having it live in unhealthy conditions and denying it medical care. After receiving a complaint, the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center sent a deputy to the home of Faraci where the deputy found a brown German shepherd in apparent distress. Authorities said Faraci was interviewed at the scene and made admissions to intentionally withholding veterinary care for the dog. Faraci was charged with a misdemeanor count of New York state Agriculture and Markets Section 353, failure to provide sustenance. She was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Minden court at a later date.
