Oct. 2024—The Otsego County Sheriff’s Office arrested Tyrell W. Adams (37) after an investigation revealed that Adams allegedly subjected minors to persistent sexual abuse for no legitimate purpose and killed a family pet in the presence of children. Adams of Pittsfield was charged with two counts of first-degree sexual abuse, third-degree sexual abuse, and animal cruelty and second-degree criminal contempt.
