July 2026 – Sirell Fiel (41) was arrested on animal abuse charges after deputies found a dead cat and a allegedly neglected dog at his home. Fiel was charged with two counts of overdriving, torturing and injuring animals, and failure to provide proper sustenance (class A misdemeanors). Surviving four cats and the dog were seized under a court order and taken to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter. Fiel was released on appearance tickets for a later date.
