Basic Information

April 2026 – Aaron Pozit, 43, owner of Hudson Hounds was arrested after an investigation into allegations of animal abuse. Detectives charging Pozit with multiple counts alleging acts of animal abuse. During the course of the investigation, detectives interviewed several people associated with the boarding facility, according to a press release by the Putnam County SPCA. Officials say the investigation is ongoing. Pozit is scheduled to be arraigned in the Town of Carmel Justice Court at a later date.
