March 2026 – John Paul Mehan Jr, (32), was arrested following multi agency investigation into the alleged abuse and abandonment of a canine. Animal Control Officers and the SPCA of Upstate New York conducted a joint investigation into the report of a severely neglected canine located in the Town of Kingsbury. Mehan was charged by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office with the following misdemeanors; Failure to provide proper sustenance and Abandonment of an Animal.  Mehan was processed and released on an appearance ticket returnable to Court at a later date.
