September 2025 – During the execution of two search warrants, Orange County Sheriff’s officers seized more than 80 domestic and exotic animals from the home of Linda Hickey (62). It is alleged that some of the animals retrieved from the home had to be treated for neglect after being forced to live in squalid conditions. Hickey was charged with animal neglect and animal cruelty in connection and charges are pending.

2023 – Police officials took away more than a hundred animals from Hickey’s home. Among those were three little pigs, a donkey and a Shetland pony, which could barely walk due to alleged neglect.
