Feb 2025 – Susan Lombardi, 53, was charged with animal cruelty for allegedly keeping dozens of animals in unlivable conditions, officials say. The Suffolk County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals says there were over 40 dogs, eight cats and a bird in the home. Detectives say there was garbage, urine and feces throughout the house and empty water bowls. Susan was released and was due back in court at a later date.
