September 2025 – Tiffany Johnson (41) was arrested on multiple charges related to animal cruelty and unlicensed dogs. Johnson faces 33 counts of violating Section 353 of the Agriculture and Markets Law, which pertains to overdriving, torturing, and injuring animals, as well as failing to provide proper sustenance. Additionally, she was charged with 28 counts of violating Section 144-14 of the Code of the City of Schenectady for having unlicensed dogs. According to reports, Johnson allegedly had 38 dogs in her residence for breeding purposes and were living in deplorable conditions.
