November 2024 – Roger Andrews of Yonkers was arrested by Yonkers Police Officers and has been charged with two counts of animal cruelty after video evidence allegedly seemed to show him violently abusing two dogs. SPCA’s HLE Unit initiated the investigation after receiving camera footage of Andrews whipping a male puppy named Champ repeatedly with a thick rope leash.
