Charles E. Kehrer, 42, of Tully, N.Y. was charged with 12 counts of animal cruelty relating to livestock and domesticated animals. The SPCA said investigators executed a search warrant at Kehrer’s property and found four dead rabbits and a dog that were caged and denied food and water. Investigators also found a dead calf and pig in a truck that belonged to Kehrer. According to the SPCA, Kehrer got the animals from a live auction. Kehrer to return to Court in April.
