Toxic to Dogs, Toxic to Cats, Toxic to Horses
This plant is a species of orchid that is native to the eastern United States and Canada. It is particularly common in the Great Lakes Region. All parts of the plant are poisonous. Toxins can be ingested, or digested through the skin. If digested it causes stomach pain and dizziness. The poison also affects the heart and in large amounts can be fatal. Was used as arrow tip poisons.
