River’s Edge Apiary
Description
River’s Edge Apiary was founded in 2017, under the original name of AllBeeNY Apiaries.
In early 2022, the operation moved from its urban location in Albany, NY, to its current peaceful five-acre property in Rexford, NY. River’s Edge Apiary can be found right on the banks of the Erie Canal and Mohawk River, immediately adjacent to the rich biodiversity of the Vischer Ferry Nature Preserve.
At River’s Edge, we aim to provide high-quality local, raw honey, in addition to other seasonal bee goods, such as our amazing lip balm. Additionally, we are available to provide other custom, bee-related services, education, and support to all those interested in our good friends, apis mellifera.
Whether you’re an experienced beekeeper interested in collaborating, or a “newbee” looking for education, consultation, mentoring or support, we are available to help. For those wanting bees and honey production on their own property or business location, but don’t have the time, we even offer bee and keeper rental services and agreements.
