Peterson, Deric

June 2015 – Deric Peterson, 31, was convicted of animal cruelty in Albany, New York, after police found four dogs and nine cats living in “unsafe and unsanitary” conditions in an apartment. One of the animals had to be euthanized due to undernourishment. Peterson was sentenced to 60 days in jail and three years of probation and is prohibited from possessing or living with animals during that probation.
