Michael A. Oramas, 32, of Accord, was sentenced for felony aggravated cruelty to animals. He pleaded guilty to aggravated cruelty to animals. The arrest followed an investigation into a domestic dispute during which Oramas and his fiancee were arguing over the death of the woman’s dog, Roxy, police said at the time. The injuries that caused the dog’s death included a broken upper jaw and ribs, a punctured lung and a lacerated liver, the District Attorney’s office said in October.
