Bonnie L. George (74) and Donald L George (77) face more than 208 criminal charges after a dog control officer received an anonymous complaint about animals living in unsafe living conditions. After executing a search warrant, authorities ended up seizing 216 farm and domestic animals from the property. Each defendant faces one count of obstruction of governmental administration in the second degree and 207 counts of overdriving, torturing and injuring animals, all misdemeanors.  The defendants are accused of failing to provide necessary food, water and care to 207 animals, including 119 goats, 47 chickens, 18 ducks and geese, 11 cats, six sheep and six dogs. Investigators also found multiple deceased animals on the property, including goats, deer and fowl. The defendants were issued an appearance ticket and released on their own recognizance. The court imposed a temporary securing order prohibiting them from owning, harboring or having custody or control of any animals while the case is pending.
