Desirae Fantoy (26) was convicted and sentenced for her role in the severe abuse and death of a six-month-old Chihuahua. Fantroy were accused of starving a dog, leaving her in a cage for extended periods, and allowing her to sit in her own waste. The dog was found in a plastic bag outside their home. Initially charged with felony aggravated cruelty to animals, Fantoy pleaded guilty to misdemeanor animal neglect.
