January 2026 – The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO)  arrested Richard Doyle, 30, after receiving reports of animals being subjected to poor living conditions at the residence. Deputies determined that Doyle allegedly neglected to give adequate food and water to a pit bull at the home, reportedly resulting in the dog’s death. Four other pit bulls were found at the property, which were seized by law enforcement and transferred to the care of the Saratoga County Animal Shelter. Doyle was taken into custody and was released. He is to appear in Court at a later date.
