2019 – Tanisha L. Banks, 38, and Kenny M. Thomas, 38, both of Binghamton were arrested in connection to an abandon dog case.  In an investigation done by the Detectives Division, it was found that the incident had been recorded by surveillance cameras from an area building.  Surveillance footage showed a vehicle driving to the location and abandoning a female dog on the street and leaving the area. Both were charged with Abandonment of Animals, in violation of the New York State Agriculture and Market Law section 355, an unclassified misdemeanor offense.
