Reynolds, Rawle A.

March 2025 - Sullivan County Grand Jury returned an Indictment charging Rawle Reynolds, 34, of Brooklyn, with Aggravated Cruelty to Animals, a Class E Felony, for intentionally choking and striking his three-month old dog with a sharp object thereby causing a large laceration reaching the dog’s skull. Reynolds’ maximum exposure under the law is two years’ incarceration in the Sullivan County Jail.

December 2024 - Monticello Police responded to a disturbance call of an alleged male ‘violently abusing a dog.’ Rawle A. Reynolds of Brooklyn was identified as the man abusing the animal in the apartment and was arrested and charged with Aggravated Cruelty to an Animal, under the New York State Agriculture and Markets Law, a felony. Reynolds was arraigned the following morning in the Village of Monticello Justice Court, remanded to Sullivan County Jail without bail, and pending further court action.
