OCTOBER 2017 – Robin Mills, 66, was convicted by a jury trial of 22 counts of misdemeanor animal cruelty. She was charged with failing to provide proper sustenance for the animals and confining them in unhealthy and unsanitary conditions. She was arrested after numerous complaints and a vigorous in-depth investigation by Suffolk County SPCA Detectives and Humane Investigators, the SPCA said after more than two dozen dogs were rescued from living in what the Suffolk SPCA called “deplorable conditions.”
