December 15, 1901 - Village of Durhamville Severely Flooded

Village of Durhamville  was severely flooded and damaged by water. It is alleged that the flooding was the result of construction by the State of an aqueduct at the village of Durhamville for the purpose of carrying the Erie canal over the Oneida creek. However, it was dismissed.
