November 3, 1787 - Severe Earthquake Felt in Kingston

As described, “On Sunday afternoon about twenty minuits after to o’clock, a severe earthquake was felt in this and the neighbouring parishes. It began with a rumbling noise, and was succeeded by concussions that resembled the explosion of distant thunder. It latest full half a minute; but the earth was seen to undulate for some time after.”
