Wicked Finch Farm

Description

Wicked Finch Farm, Airbnb and maker of treats originated as a dairy farm from the late 1800s through the 1950s. In the 1970’s the property became the country residence of husband and wife actors, Ben Gazzara and Janice Rule. After the property changed hands a few times and it was purchased in 2000 as our family home.

We love to share the beauty and fun that the property has to offer on Airbnb. The farm is the perfect escape from the city with valley and stream views, snowshoes, bicycles and lawn games. If you are a foodie, explore the top restaurants of the county, farmer’s markets, wineries, breweries, bakeries, and cheesemakers of the area. Love to cook? Grill or create an epic meal in our well-stocked kitchen.

Inspired by the berry bushes on the property, Wicked Finch Farm produces small-batch preserves, confections, and granola. We also make leather accessories, crafts and gifts for you to experience our rustic modern style at home. Check out the online shop or sample our collection of artisan jams and treats when you visit!

If you are social, stay in touch for our events both in the Hudson Valley and in NYC.  We offer workshops, tasting events, themed celebrations or happy to collaborate on your ideas!

The feisty yellow finches, herons, hummingbirds and other wildlife that call the area home were the muse for the Wicked Finch name. Another fun fact, the movie “A Quiet Place” starring Emily Blunt and Jim Krasinski as well as its sequel were filmed at the farm next door.

Welcome to the farm!
