The Woolroom at Longmeadow Farm
Description
Ewenique Hand Dyed Yarn and Fiber
The Woolroom @ Longmeadow Farm, located in the small town of Freedom, in Western New York. I reside there with my husband Tom, a flock of Romney and natural-colored Longwool sheep, and a few other farm animals and pets.
I started seriously working with and dying wool, using fiber from my flock that is processed into yarns at Stonehedge Fibers in Michigan is my main focus. Along with purchased ecru wool and wool blend yarns to hand dye. I do all of the dyeing at the farm, focusing on creating one-of-a-kind unique colorways. Exotic blends of 100% silk, baby camel with silk, and yak blends are also a favorite of the fiber arts community. We have few products listed online but have a larger inventory at the Farm shop.
I am happy to work with you via phone or email to find exactly what you are looking for. I will dye special orders or requests when time permits. Call or email if you have any questions.
