The farm landscape offers a unique setting for wedding photographs. Designed and maintained by owner and retired wildlife biologist, Tom Jasikoff, Tanner Creek Farm is a sanctuary for animals and nature lovers alike. The 35-acre property has been beautifully transformed from farm land to wildlife habitats and gardens, restoring wetland habitat with native warm season grasses and prairie wildflowers. Tom has established numerous edible hedgerows, orchards, a hop garden, and vineyards, has planted horticultural specimens to attract wildlife, and created 19 ponds around the property. Guests can wander the manicured trails, spot wildlife, pet farm animals, and pick ripe apples and berries in the orchards.
