Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act (AETA) is passed

The Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act (AETA) is passed. The AETA expands the 1992 AEPA to classify as a terrorist anyone who damages the property of an animal enterprise or of a person or entity connected to an animal enterprise, or creates a “reasonable fear” of injury.
