Mounts Creek Farm(MCF) is a small farm located in the Adirondack Park In upstate New York. We are pleased to offer quality local meats to customers in our area and regionally. We feel extremely fortunate to have a small piece of land on which we can raise more food than we could ever need to feed just ourselves. Therefore we want other people to enjoy quality food at a reasonable price.
WHAT WE DO
We raise Boer meat goats and chickens on pasture. We do not use any medicated feeds or hormones on any of our animals. Chickens are only raised from April till mid-October because we want them outside Goats are here year-round feasting on a great deal of hay and pine trees. We also raise a few Angora goats for their fiber which is Mohair. We sell the fleeces and yarn. We also hand-dye the yarn. Healthy animals will give you healthy meat.
