Malik Farms

Malik Farms LLC is a small cut flower grower located on Long Island in Central Suffolk County in the town of Coram, New York. It’s members are Ted Malik and Carol Russell. It’s primary products are Sunflowers, Peonies, Liatris and Lilies.

Malik Farms LLC has been growing beautiful fresh cut flowers for more than 20 years on the family farm, which was one of Long Island’s potato farms when Ted was a boy. Ted has been involved in farming and in particular cut flower farming for most of his life. As a college student delivering his mother’s flowers to local florists he first learned how to cut, bunch and handle flowers and eventually learned how to grow them to meet the needs of the customer.

Malik Farms LLC supplies freshly cut flowers to local florists and wholesale distributors in Central Suffolk from May to November. The flowers are cut and delivered fresh, therefore, the “shelf life” of all Malik Farms LLC flowers is significantly longer than flowers bought from growers off of Long Island or outside the country.
