Camman Acres

Description

Camman Acres was founded by Shane Camman in 2012 as a hobby homestead while working in biotech. The idea was to grow our own food and give our kids a healthy lifestyle. In 2014 Shane left his corporate job working in neurosurgery navigation to be a full-time farmer. Our success has come through much trial and error as well as immeasurable hard work.

We are committed to providing our community with clean and healthy food that is sustainably and humanely raised. Our philosophy is that quality comes from small batches. Our products include chicken, beef, pork, and turkey. All of our animals are pasture raised, non-GMO, hormone free, antibiotic free and chemical free. Our feeds are all non-GMO and locally grown. The livestock on our farm live happily outside and enjoy clean food with humane conditions. We also grow chemical free vegetables in our no-till gardens and source the highest quality fruits and vegetables from our neighboring small farms.

Farm life is new to us. We came into this career with one goal in mind. Eliminating all the unwanted chemicals in our food. We were not satisfied with what was available at the grocery store so we decided to grow our own. The health benefits have been truly amazing for our family. Shane surprisingly fell in love with the farming lifestyle. The memories of a former career jet setting around and chasing financial goals while never feeling satisfied grow dimmer each day.
