Terry Woloszyn (59) was charged with numerous counts of animal cruelty following a report of animal abuse in the Town of Owego. An investigation determined that several dogs, chickens, and a pony were left without proper sustenance and a clean living environment, according to the Tioga County Sheriff’s Office. Town of Berkshire, Town of Owego dog control officers and the sheriff’s office seized 33 dogs, 15 chickens, and a miniature pony from the property. Woloszyn was charged with 49 counts of cruelty to animals and 33 counts of harboring an unlicensed dog. He was issued appearance tickets to appear at a later date for an initial hearing.
