May 2019 – Shannon King (32) — The Suffolk County Probation Department found, during a welfare check of Kings Home, 10 dogs and two cats “living in deplorable conditions” inside her home. Some of the canines — which included bulldogs, Great Danes, and Yorkies — were allegedly confined in feces-filled cages.One dog was allegedly found “severely emaciated,” the SPCA said.The animals’ bones were “visible and protruding” and “there was feces and insects on the floor and an overwhelming smell of feces and urine,” added Amityville Police Department chief Glenn Slack. The abused dogs and cats were also “severely dehydrated,” Gross claimed, adding, “There was absolutely no water available to them.” King was taken to the Amityville Police Department and later arraigned and released on her own recognizance, according to the SCPA. She is slated to appear in Court. The animals were brought to the Babylon Animal Shelter.

December 2017 – Shannon King (31), was charged with misdemeanor animal cruelty for failure to provide proper sustenance including food, water and veterinary care, to a 1 year old male pit bull. The dog was emaciated and was covered with open sores.King was arraigned and released on her own recognizance with the condition that she is not permitted to possess any animals.
