7/14/2021 – Joan Holmes (72) was charged with Confinement of Companion Animal in Vehicle: Extreme Temperatures.Lakewood-Busti Police responded to a call from the Lakewood TJ Maxx parking lot. Officers report the dog was left in a vehicle in the heat for over 30 minutes. The dog was returned to Holmes with a water dish. She is set to appear in the Town of Busti Court.
